-COMING APRIL 3, 2015-
Full length 12″ LP reissue in new alternative packaging; limited-quantity run – only 300 produced.
Hand Drawn is pleased to announce Exit 380’s newest full length record (originally released August 2014) will be reissued in all new packaging! Admittedly, our first foray into vinyl didn’t bear the results we were quite looking for, as last summer’s limited edition vinyl LP release of Photomaps came with fairly substandard packaging.
The vinyl record itself – plus accompanied CD and digital download card – weren’t really the issue; the problem came in the album’s lack of a cardboard jacket and therefore looseness of protection once opened. Well, we gave a tag team for the reissue to our new vinyl manufacturing arm, Hand Drawn Pressing, and together, we’ve remedied the problem.
The coming reissue will come in a hardback, 20-point cardboard sleeve to protect the record, and give new space for the artwork (full feature photography and credits now embolden the back cover). Also, we’ve hand-stamped and numbered each copy, just like the original limited edition run!
Check out the new artwork below, reconfigured by Dustin Blocker (Exit 380/Hand Drawn Records) in black and white. Pre-order for the reissue is NOW AVAILABLE.
