“Triple Play” is a monthly event dedicated to showcasing three emerging recording artists from Dallas, Fort Worth and Denton. Sponsored by the Dallas Observer, KXT 91.7 Radio and The Kessler Theater, the Triple Play series aspires to bring together the three different creative communities and demonstrate the broad cross-section of musical styles and influences found therein. The first three acts are DOMA-nominated guitarist Hunter Hendrickson from Dallas, KXT Radio favorite Spooky Folk from Denton, and Fort Worth’s critically-acclaimed Exit 380. All three of these artists are favorites in their respective hometowns, and each have a remarkably versatile musical skill set. This will be the first in a series of North Texas showcase events sponsored by KXT 91.7, the Dallas Observer and The Kessler. Tickets are $8 advance, $10 day of show.
