Another year is in the books for our annual Unofficial South-By showcases and we can't thank everyone enough for their incredible performances, support and dedication to independent music. The crowds were the biggest to date —and the live video streams were viewed over 4,000 times on day 1 alone— yet somehow, the numbers didn't seem to matter, as a feat rarely seen in independent music played out time and again throughout the weekend, both on and off-stage.
The camaraderie amongst the performers was the real win last weekend. Artists sharing gear, swapping road-stories, vinyl and band tees on their way to dance in the front row for the next band.
That's it isn't it? The reason we go to see live music, to literally "feel the love?"
Well, we felt the love last weekend, and if you missed it, hopefully you click some links so that some moments can pop out at you, and maybe next year we'll get to see YOU in the front row.
