The lady Carlina is on tonight, she spins like a woman half her size.
A single white rose behind her ear, the crowd is so loud I can barely hear.
They sing, “Dance Carlina you lovely thing. She is the best I have ever seen!
She moves with the claps and the stomping feet. Each twirl brings a smile, each smile a wink.”
The band they just sweat in their normal way, with grins on their beards they bend and sway.
Omar plays guitar till his fingers bleed, and stares at his love while he plucks the lead.
