The most fun we had at the Vol. 4 sessions came when the acoustic retro-pop trio WhiskeySour hit the studio floor. Several impromptu jams broke out covering everything from “Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog” to a couple of Jackson 5 tunes, before the room was cleared for the band to finally settle in for their cut; an original Christmas song, “Through with Mary.”
Beyond frivolity, the newly formed act has some serious melodic and harmonic chops. Made up of scene veterans, brothers Paul and Tim McDonald and close friend, Joe Radoszewski, WhiskeySour is a band with major potential in the new year.
